How we handle your information.

What we collect

• From LinkedIn (when you sign in): your name, email, profile photo, and a stable LinkedIn account identifier.
• From you: a short bio, what you're looking for, preferences, and availability, including details you'd rather keep private, which are used only to improve your matches and never shown to other members.
• Optionally: a work email you choose to verify, to earn a company badge.
• From using the app: who you were matched with, whether you met, and your feedback.

How we use it

We use your information to make and improve your weekly matches and to keep the community trustworthy. Information you mark as private is used only by our matching system to find better matches. It is never shown to other members.

What we share

We do not sell your data. Your profile is shown only to the members you are matched with. We use a small number of service providers (e.g. hosting, email, the AI that helps with matching) under confidentiality obligations.

Your choices

You can view and edit your profile and pause matching whenever you like. To request a copy of your data or to delete your account, email us at privacy@bobaconnects.com.
